New international article: ”Sign Language Avatars: The German Gold Rush to Undercut Flesh And Blood Interpreters”
At the beginning of December, we published our third international article titled ”Sign Language Avatars: The German Gold Rush to Undercut Flesh And Blood Interpreters”. This article was produced in collaboration with Taubenschlag, Turkoois and MédiaPi. Fourth international article: “Inclusive education for deaf children: Co-enrollment as new standard?”

Collaboration: Dnieuws Visits Belgium
DNieuws (Turkoois) from the Netherlands visited Belgium to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of DoofBewust and DoofVerleden while also exploring the impact of VGT Nieuws, the Flemish Sign Language News. We would now like to highlight Teckenbro, one of our key partners in the Deaf Journalism Europe project. Teckenbro is Sweden’s largest company specializing in sign language media production, established in 2008. The company offers services in project management, photography, editing and translations between Swedish, Swedish Sign Language, and International Sign.
Teckenbro also provides lectures and sign language interpreting. All employees are deaf and use Swedish Sign Language as their first language. The company has expertise in tailoring translations for diverse audiences, including children, newcomers, individuals with intellectual disabilities and deafblind communities.
